1. Measurement of the cylinder block on a plane

(1) Use one hand to gently hold the sharp angle of the blade ruler against the plane of the cylinder block, and use the 0.05mm measuring piece in the feeler gauge to insert the blade into the gap between the blade ruler and the upper plane of the cylinder block.

(4) During the measurement, if there is some resistance or small resistance when inserting a gap between the blade edge and the upper surface of the cylinder block with a 0.05mm measuring piece, it means that the deformation amount of the upper surface of the cylinder block has reached or exceeded. 2. Measure the lower surface of the cylinder head

(1) Use one hand to gently hold the sharp angle of the blade ruler against the lower surface of the custom cylinder head. Use the 0.05mm measuring piece in the feeler gauge to test the gap between the blade ruler and the lower surface of the cylinder head and plug in.

(2) If the 0.05 mm measuring piece cannot or is difficult to insert into the gap between the cutting edge rule and the upper surface of the cylinder head, it means that the amount of deformation at the measuring point has not reached the maximum limit, and then replace the position detection cutting edge rule and the cylinder Cover the other gaps between the planes.

(3) If it is measured that all gaps between the cutting edge ruler and the upper surface of the cylinder head at the position shown in the figure have not reached the maximum limit, then the cutting edge ruler is in accordance with the other five directions shown by the thick solid lines in the figure. 3. Cylinder head intake manifold side plane and exhaust manifold side plane measurement

(1) Use one hand to gently touch the sharp angle of the blade ruler to the side surface of the intake manifold of the cylinder head. Trial insertion in the gap on the side surface of the manifold.

(2) If it is impossible or difficult to insert a 0.10 mm measuring piece into the gap between the blade edge and the side surface of the intake manifold side of the cylinder head, it means that the amount of deformation at the measuring point has not reached the maximum limit, and then the position detection Other gaps between the cutting edge ruler and the side surface of the intake manifold side of the cylinder head.

(3) If all the gaps between the cutting edge ruler and the side surface of the intake manifold side of the aluminum cylinder head at the position shown in the figure are not reached, then adjust the cutting edge ruler according to the other solid thickness lines shown in the figure. (4) During the measurement, if a 0.10mm measuring piece is inserted into the gap between the blade ruler and the side surface of the intake manifold side of the cylinder head, if there is some resistance or little resistance, it means that the cylinder head intake manifold side The amount of plane deformation has reached or exceeded the maximum limit.
